Hello, World

This is the first post on my new personal site. I built it with Astro and deployed it to GitHub Pages.

Why a personal site?

As a PhD student, having a central place for my work, publications, and thoughts seemed overdue. I wanted something that felt like me — hence the terminal aesthetic.

What’s next?

I plan to write about:

• My PhD research on Geometric Semantic Genetic Programming
• Experiments with evolutionary computation and ML
• Tools and workflows I find useful
• Miscellaneous thoughts on academia and engineering
